Fun Heats up in Atlanta on Cinco de Mayo!

If you’re boring or have a long, sad face or want to be by yourself wallowing in your lameness, then stay at home. Because to get with Cinco de Mayo in Atlanta, my amigos, means fun, laughs, friends, music, and lots and lots of crazy loaded nachos with all the good stuff just piled up on top.

We’re ALL Mexican-Americans on Cinco de Mayo–celebrating the unlikely victory of the Mexican army over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862! Don’t worry. You won’t be quizzed. You don’t have to know a single slapping thing about that battle—or even likehistory (after all, it was just a bunch of stuff that people did)—to enjoy ice cold Margaritas with friends on this festive holiday coming up on Thursday!

Here’s a very cool Cinco de Mayo party spot with all the chips, salsa, guac and queso that you can devour! (Have some Tums on hand for later.)

From Twitter: AtlanticStation
Spend Cinco de Mayo @RosaMexicano in @AtlanticStation! Giveaways, food/drink specials, entertainment & more! Menu additions avail. all day!

Rosa Mexicano in Atlantic Station is located at 245 18th Street, right here close to home.

On Sunday, May 8 Rosa Mexicano is serving up a Mexican Brunch Buffet for Mother’s Day, so bring mom if she’s nearby and show her she is loved! If she’s not here, eat a big heaping plate in her honor and then call her up and tell her about it. 🙂

So call up some amigos to meet up at the local cantina for the fiesta at Rosa Mexicano (say this sentence with a Spanish accent–it’s fun). After all, there’s only one Cinco in each Mayo per year, so don’t let Cinco de Mayo pass you up this year without a fun-loving, friend-sharing, food-devouring party!
